Every Live Experience registration includes a copy of BREAK. HEAL. BUILD.
Break.
“Break what broke you.”
The honest reckoning most people spend a lifetime avoiding, not more pain for its own sake, but the kind of breaking that finally brings the truth into the light where it can be dealt with.
Breaking exposed it.
Heal.
“Healing is not linear, but it is worth it.”
Release, not performance. The slow, non-linear work of setting down what you were carrying, and discovering you can put it down without losing yourself.
Healing released it.
Build.
“You are being made on purpose.”
Becoming who you were always meant to be, built from where you actually are, on foundations you choose. This is where surviving ends and living begins.
Building transformed it.
Breaking exposed it. Healing released it. Building transformed it.

Questions, Answered
What is the BREAK. HEAL. BUILD. Live Experience? +
It’s a one-day gathering built around the book: teaching, testimony, a meal at a full table, and a room of people doing the same work you’re doing. This is the first one.
Saturday, December 5, 2026 at The Well Center, 1301 Lofin Rd, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
What’s included with General Admission? +
$79 covers your seat for the full program, lunch, and a copy of BREAK. HEAL. BUILD. handed to you at check-in.
What makes VIP different? +
$129. VIP guests check in at their own table, are personally escorted to reserved seating, and find a gift box waiting at their place: the book and a signed companion workbook.
VIP closes October 30, 2026. The gift boxes are produced to a headcount, so that date doesn’t move.
Is the book shipped to me? +
No. It’s handed to you at check-in. Nothing to wait for, nothing to carry in.
If you only want the book and can’t be in the room, you can order it on its own for $25 and we’ll ship it to you.
I bought tickets for my whole party. What do I do now? +
One registration form covers your whole order. Fill it out once and add a row for every ticket you bought, with each guest’s full name spelled the way it should be printed.
We use those names for place cards and check-in, so a party of four needs four names, not one.
Is food included? +
Yes. Midday we serve a spread of hors d’oeuvres and stations. Build your own plate, go back for more, eat while you talk to the person next to you.
What time should I arrive? +
Doors open at 8:30 AM and the program runs 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Come early. Takara is at the door during arrival, and check-in is unhurried when you are not walking in at 9:55.
Full details, schedule, parking, and everything else you’ll need that morning go out by email on November 30.
What should I wear? +
Come dressed the way you’d want to be photographed. The room is black, gold, and candlelit, cocktail or Sunday best both belong. Wear shoes you can sit in for a few hours.
Where do I park? +
Free on-site parking, with an overflow lot if the main lot fills. Accessible spaces are near the entrance.
Doors are open for 90 minutes, so there is no rush, but if you are coming with a group, arriving together saves everyone circling.
Can I bring my children? +
This one is for you. The program runs several hours and every seat is a paid seat, so we ask that you come without children. Nursing infants in arms are welcome.
Is the venue accessible? +
Yes. If you need something specific (an aisle seat, space for a wheelchair, a service animal, a quiet room), email us before the event and we will have it handled before you walk in. You should not have to ask twice at the door.
Can I get a refund or give my ticket to someone else? +
Tickets are non-refundable. Meals, books, and gift boxes are ordered to a headcount well before the doors open. You’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else up until November 20. Email us their name and we’ll move the seat over.
I’m coming from out of town. Where should I stay? +
These are the closest options to the venue, all within a few minutes’ drive:
- Hilton Garden Inn Aberdeen1050 Beards Hill Rd · 410-272-1777
- Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites907 Barnett Ln · 443-327-7772

- Comfort Inn & Suites Aberdeen980 Hospitality Way · 410-273-6300

Will there be a book signing? +
Every book is already signed when it reaches your hands at check-in, so there is no line to stand in. VIP workbooks are inscribed with your name.
What we do instead is photos. Takara is at the door as you arrive, and there is time for pictures before the day closes out.
I still have a question. +
Email [email protected] and someone will get back to you. If it’s about a ticket you already bought, include your order number.
Seats are limited and the room is set to a number.
